RENACIMIENTO MANILA is a group of artists, creators, and history enthusiasts committed to heritage advocacy, with a particular interest in Manila’s built heritage. As such, the purpose of Renacimiento Manila is to produce art to promote and realize Manila’s cultural rebirth and for it to materialize its core philosophy, the Renacimiento Movement.

A Better Manila

At the end of the day, the vision for this movement is a progressive and livable City of Manila driven by heritage, and its cultural rebirth as the Pearl of the Orient.

Create, Promote, and Partner

To this end, the Renacimiento Manila undertakes the following missions: (a) Create art that will promote public attention, interest, awareness, and support for heritage conservation, including reconstruction, so that the government and other people managing heritage will act toward this end; (b) To proactively promote, advocate, and lobby for the realization of heritage conservation, and whenever necessary, reconstruction, in Manila that is timely and meaningful; and (c) To partner with other initiatives with similar aspirations.
